Batch Edit Student Rosters by Section/Grade Level in Infinite Campus NEW LOOK

Build Sections First. Requests and Rosters does not do this for you. Sections need to be built under Course/Section first.

Click "Scheduling & Courses"

Click "Requests & Rosters"

Click "Filter"

Click the "Student Name" field.

Click on students that are in the same homeroom/section (this example is first graders).

Once all of the correct students have been selected click "Close".

Verify that the correct students are listed. If they are, click "Batch Edit Student Rosters". If students are missing, go back to the filter in previous steps.

Select **all** courses that align with the correct grade level (this example is first graders). Once a course is selected, it will go to the top of this list displayed. \ If you are unsure which courses are required for each grade, please check out the Admin/Clerk Playbook.

Select the appropriate section number from the dropdown for EACH course. DO NOT ADD START DATES if rostering before the year has started.

Once all courses have the correct section selected, click "Add".

This warning is asking for confirmation. Requests and Rosters calls each course added to a students' schedule a 'roster', which is a new terminology. This example includes 6 first grade students with 11 courses being added to each students schedule, hence 66 rosters in this example. If you'd like to continue, click "Continue".

Click "Close". And you're done with that section!
