Bulk Member Actions

The Bulk Member Actions tool allows leaders to efficiently update Levels, Patrols, and Grades as well as clear health form filed on dates for multiple members. The tool also allows leaders to batch print ID cards into a single PDF. *(The Bulk Member Actions tool will only display and be available to leader roles with the permission to "Update other profiles.")

Navigate to <https://www.traillifeconnect.com/dashboard>, and click **Troop Members** under *My Troop*

**Pro Tips for Using Bulk Member Actions** - **Maximize efficiency.** The Bulk Member Actions tool in the Troop Members list saves time by allowing you to update Levels, Patrols, or Grades for multiple Trailmen, print ID cards in bulk, or adjust health form dates. For best results, handle each task type separately. - **Filter first.** Use Troop Member filters to narrow your list before editing—this makes bulk actions faster and easier to manage. - **Work top-down.** Each year, start with Navigators and move down through Mountain Lions, Hawks, and Foxes when updating Levels and Grades. - **Use smart Patrol names.** Naming conventions like “Fox – Year 1/2” or “Gray Foxes/Red Foxes” make it simple to identify member stages and streamline updates. - **Aging out.** Youth turning 18 are automatically converted to adult accounts—no manual action needed.

Select Members for Bulk Action

Click the **Bulk Member Actions** icon above the Troop Roster

Select the members you would like to make the changes for by clicking the checkbox associated with their profile.

Bulk Member Action Options

For the selections made, you'll see the following options for bulk action. These provide control for you in easily making these actions based on how your Troop is structured as it relates to program levels, patrols, and grade levels.\ \ **Trailman Level** will move all selected members to the chosen level.\ **User Patrol** will move all selected members to the patrol you choose.\ **Trailman Grade** will move the selected members to the grade level you choose.\ **Health Form Filed On** allows you to clear the health forms for selected members.\ **High Risk Medical Form** allows you to clear the high risk medical forms for selected members.

Once updates are made, click **Process bulk** to confirm changes.

Bulk Member Print ID Cards

Click **Batch print ID cards**

The selected Member ID cards will be exported into a single PDF file you can then print for distribution.\ \ *Please note: Senior Ministry Leaders and Parents are not considered Registered Adults, and therefore do not have the option for printing a member ID card.*
