CRA My Account - Authorize a Representative (2025-08-25)

This guide provides a step-by-step process for adding authorized representatives to your CRA My Account. You will need access to your CRA My Account before using this guide.

Navigate to [Sign in to your CRA account - ](https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/e-services/cra-login-services.html)[Canada.ca](http://Canada.ca)

Use the Sign-in Partner Service or click "CRA sign-in" to use your CRA account.

Click the "Profile" button on the menu to the left of the page

Click the "Add" button under "Authorized representative(s)"

Click the "Start" button

Click the "RepID, GroupID or BN⁠⁠ ⁠(Required)⁠⁠" field. Enter 814643870, then click "Search"

Click the "Next" button

Select "Level 2" for the authorization level, then select "Yes" for online access. Leave the expiry date blank and check the box next to "Does not expire".

Click the "Next" button

Click the checkbox under "Confirmation", then click the "Submit" button
