Cancelling a Policy

This guide provides a straightforward process for cancelling a policy, ensuring users can efficiently navigate the necessary steps. It outlines how to access the member's contract, initiate cancellation, and handle payment or refund details.

From the **top search menu**, begin by searching for the **customers contract.**

Locate the member’s policy under **Contracts** and click the **Contract Number** to open and proceed.

Click **“Cancel”** to proceed with cancelling the policy that is not yet effective.

Stage 1: Cancellation

A **Cancellation** screen will appear, displaying the current coverage, premium, and cancellation option. Click **Select**, then **Mark Stage as Complete** to proceed.

Stage 2: Payment/Refund

**Previous payment activity** on the contract will appear for **historical reference**.\ \ Click **“Refund”** to continue.\ \ The refund will automatically be issued to the **credit card originally used for payment**.
