Applying For A Job

Navigate to the job that you would like to apply for.

To get started, click on "Apply for this job"

You will now be taken to the login screen, where you will need to register your details.

If you have your CV to hand, click "Upload a CV to create your profile automatically" - this will save you time!

Once your CV has been uploaded you will see the following small banner confirming this upload.

To complete this initial registration, click "I agree. Create my account and continue the application".

You will now be taken to the Profile Builder section of the application.

You will now need to complete all relevant fields to continue with your application.

There is an option to complete your disability status if you feel comfortable to do so, by selecting this drop down menu.

If you have changed your mind about this application, you also have the option to Withdraw by clicking the "Withdraw application" button at the bottom of the screen.

Once you are happy with all of your details, click "Continue".

You will now be taken to the CV upload page - if you have already uploaded a CV at the initial registration stage you will see this here, if you did not already upload your CV you can do this here either via a file on your computer, dropbox or Google.

At the bottom of each screen if you need to save your progress and return later, you have the option to do so by clicking the "Save and continue later" button.

Once you are happy with all of your information, click "Continue" to move to the next stage.

If a questionnaire has been added to the application process you will now be taken to the questionnaire portion of your application.

Complete as appropriate and select next to move to the next question.

Once you have completed all of the required questions and select next you will now be taken to the next part of the application process.

You will now be given the opportunity to review your full application.

To complete your application make sure to tick the box to confirm that you would like to submit your application.

Once you have clicked the box, click "Submit" to finalise the process.

You will now see the following screen where you have the option to complete an Equal Opportunities questionnaire. If you would like to complete this, simply click "Continue to questionnaire"

You will now need to complete all required questions as part of the equal opportunities questionnaire.

Once you have completed all of the questions, click "Continue" to complete this process.

You will now see the following screen, confirming that you have applied for the role. Click "Continue" to go to your new candidate profile.

You will now be taken to your candidate profile, where you can manage your application(s) and add further details about yourself.

The first time you land on your profile, you will see the following welcome message. Once you have read through this you can click "OK, got it." to remove this from the home page.

How To Login To Your Account

In order to login, you will need to enter the email address and password that you registered your account with. After you have entered your details click on the **login button** which will take you to your dashboard page where you will have a range of functions to utilise.

How To Login Using Magic Links

If you would prefer, you can log into your account, without the need for a password, and can instead do this using “Magic Links”.

Please Note: Magic links will only work under certain conditions: - You must have already **started an application** or have an **ATS account** set up. - The link must be opened in the **same browser** where the request was originally made.\ \ If these conditions aren’t met, the magic link will not work.

You should now see an option at the bottom of the page to enable you to "Continue with your email". Clicking this option will refresh the page, and allow you to simply enter your email address - no password is required:

Once you have entered your email address, the screen will again refresh and prompt you to check your email:

You will then receive an email that looks like this:

You can either select the top hyperlink or the bottom URL link - either will take you straight to your profile.

Be aware that “Magic Links” will **expire after 10 minutes** and are **only valid for one use**.\ If you try to use a link twice or use it after it has expired, you will receive an error message which looks like this:

The word **‘here’** in this message is a hyperlink - if you receive this error message, simply click on the word ‘here’ to generate a new link.

If You Forget Your Password

If you have forgotten your password you can use the "**forgot password**" link under the login button, in the top right hand side of your dashboard. This will show a pop up box that you can type the full email address you registered with so that a reset password email can be sent to you.

How To Update Your Profile

After logging in, to update & add further information to your profile, click "Profile" from the top banner.

From here you can update your profile picture if you choose to. To do this, click the "Update profile picture" button.

Personal Information

Below your profile picture you will also a number of "Profile Information" options on the left hand side. To update your personal information, click the "Personal Information" banner.\ \ From here you will be taken to the personal information page, to make any edits simply click the pencil icon.

You will now be able to edit any of the personal information fields to suit.

Once you are happy with all of your personal information, click "Save" to complete this section.

If you scroll further down the page you will see a "Personal Objectives" and "Personal Summary" section. If you would like to fill these in, simply click on the pencil icon.

Whilst in edit mode you have the ability to either type or paste information into these sections. Once you're happy with your info, click "Save".

To edit your personal summary, repeat the steps from above, starting by click here on the pencil icon.

Click "Save" once you are happy with your personal summary.

Career History

To edit the next section of your profile, click the "Career History" banner found on the left hand side of the page.

If you currently work for the business that you are apply to, you have the ability to edit this section here to say "yes" - to do this simply click on the pencil icon to edit.

Your career history in this section will auto populate from your CV - to edit this though simply click the pencil icon.

Whilst editing you will see certain sections need to be filled in.

Once you are happy with your career history information, click "Save".

Education History

To edit your Education History, repeat the steps from above, by clicking the "Education History" banner found on the left-hand side.

You are now able to add more education history, but clicking on the plus icon and filling in any required details.

Once you are happy with the information you have inputted, click "Save".

Update Your Skills

To get started, click "Skills" from the right hand side options, followed by typing your skill into the "Skill" field.

Once you are happy with your skill, click "Save".

Update Your Portfolio

Click "Portfolio" from the menu on the right hand side. You will now see the following page where you can upload any documents, videos, audio or links by clicking on the purple + icon next to the relevant section.

Viewing Your Profile Activity

To view your profile activity, simply click on "Activity" found in the right hand menu. You will then be taken to the following page that details information such as when you registered and when you last uploaded a CV.

Your Jobs Menu

Start by clicking "Jobs" from the top menu.

From here you will see the following sub-menu, where you can view your job applications, job search, view any saved job alerts and check any referrals. \ \ To get started click "View My Job Application".

You will be taken to the following page where you can track and view any job applications. To view these in more detail simply click on the "View Application" button.

You will now be taken to a summary of your application to view.

Job Search

To view any job searches you have done, click "Jobs", followed by "Job Search".

You will now be taken to the following page, where you can search for any jobs within the same organisation or view any previous searches.

Referrals

Click "Referrals"

Click "Your referral linkShare your personal referral link with friends or colleagues and their applications will be attributed to you. Copy"

Your Dashboard In More Detail

To view your Dashboard, simply click the "Dashboard" button found in the top menu.

From here you will be able to quickly access all of the options found in the top menu, but from this one screen instead. You will see that you can view your Job Applications at the top of your profile.

You also have the ability to search for jobs.

Based on your profile you may have jobs suggested to you.

To view any upcoming events relevant to your applications see here.

You can also see any emails that have been sent to you from the dashboard without having to go to a separate window to open your email inbox.

Click "View Email.

This will open your email up in a pop-out

You may wish to move each box (widget) of your dashboard around, into an order that suits you better. To do this, simply click the cross/arrow icon and drag and drop each widget to where you would like to view them.

Settings

Click "Settings"

On this screen you have the ability to change and update any of your settings, including your password.

It's also important that you check your GDPR Opt In/Out settings and tick or untick any boxes relating to how and when you would like to be contacted.

Once you're happy with your settings, click "Save".

If you no longer wish to have an account, you can delete it using the button at the bottom of your settings page. Click "Delete this account" to do this.

If you have moved your dashboard widgets around, and would like to reset them simply click "Reset Dashboard Widgets".

If you would like to set up Multi-Factor authorisation, simply click "Multi-Factor Auth".

You will be taken to the following page where you can click to set this up, using the green buttons.

Notifications

To see your notifications simply select the bell icon in the top right of your profile.

This will open up the following pop-up which will show you any outstanding notifications.

Withdraw Your Application

If you have changed your mind, and would like to withdraw your application you can do so. To get started simply click "View Application" for the role you would like to withdraw from.

Now scroll to the bottom of the application page and click "Withdraw application".
