CareerSet: How to score your CV

Click on 'Score Your CV' and upload your CV.

Before uploading your CV, please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the guidelines. It is important that the CV is in PDF and is not password protected.

Click here.

Choose 'Standard'.

Click here to upload your CV. The system will then perform its analysis.

Once your CV has been analysed, you can then explore your results.

The 'Overall Scorecard' will provide you with an overall score. You can also review your score across different metrics - 'Impact', 'Brevity', 'Style' and 'Average Bullet Score'. To find out more about each of these metrics, hover over the small information button beside each word.

The 'Highlights' Section will provide valuable information on steps you can take to improve your CV, as well as letting you know what you did well.

You can make use of CareerSet's AI technology to undertake a line-by-line analysis of your CV and receive writing suggestions. Click on 'Line-by-Line Analysis' on the left column.

Please remember you can only make use of **10** line-by-line generations per day.

Click 'Generate CV Line'

Click 'I agree to the Privacy Policy.'

Click 'Confirm'.

Click 'Generate CV Line'.

You will then be provided with an alternative wording for the line. You can click 'Next Line' to analyse it, and so on - but remember you are limited to **10** line-by-line analyses a day.
