Cerner Staff Manager Mobile App: Adding Requests

This guide offers a step-by-step process for efficiently adding requests, in other words, requesting time to work or for paid leave in the Cerner Staff Manager app. By following the outlined instructions, Unit Staff can go to the Staff Manager Mobile app and follow the below steps

Once logged in into the app, Tap on the + button.

Then, click on the arrow to select your Unit.

Select the correct Scheduling Period by tapping on the "Schedule Period’ dropdown menu.

Select the desired dates to request by taping on the calendar days, the days already selected will be highlighted in *blue* (**please wait until the selected day is highlighted in blue until you select the next one**), then, tap ‘NEXT’.

Select the desired task to request on the previously selected days by **tapping on the check box** of the task name, and finally tap SUBMIT.

You will see the requested dates pending for approval (represented by a *blue* dot). Once the Unit manager approves your request, this will change to a *green* dot.

Lastly, once the Unit Manager generates the schedule, you will see the days you are scheduled to work, represented by a *blue* square in the calendar view.
