Check In Asset

This guide provides a straightforward process for checking in any checked-out asset, ensuring efficient asset management.

Incidentiq

Click "Assets"

Click "Check In / Out"

Click the "Search for an asset using an asset tag or serial number" field.

Type the "Asset Tag" in the search field and click "Lookup"

Verify the results. Click "Check Asset In"

Under "History" you can see the "Asset Owner" has been updated to "Not Assigned"

Under "Asset Tag" click the asset tag number to open the asset's details page.

The "Owner" and "Asset Status" fields have been updated.
