Completing the KHSAA Sports Safety Module Certification For NON-High School Coaches

Follow this guide to navigate the KHSAA website and complete the 8 module required sports safety training. This tutorial will help middle school coaches successfully complete their emergency action plan module to maintain necessary certifications.

Course Selection

Navigate to [https://khsaa.org/](https://khsaa.org/)

Click "Take or Resume KRS 160.445 Safety Course"

Select the option for Non-KHSAA coaches or those without a coaching record.

Tip! At this point, the list of courses will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Alert! You can take the courses in any order, but you must complete all 8 modules before you are certified.

Select a Module to complete: Module 1 - The Emergency Action Plan.

Guestbook Registration

Alert! It is crucial that you fill out the "Guest Book" completely and accurately. Enter your first and last name, email address, School Type (High, Middle, Elementary or Other) and type in your school's name.

Alert! You will receive a PDF certificate at the end of each module. It will be emailed to the email address that you enter in the guest book, so again, be acurate!

Complete the First Name, Last Name, and Email fields.

Select 'Middle School' from the School Type dropdown.

Enter the full School Name.

Click "Submit"

The Module will then begin. Please refer to the instructions in this introductory slide to understand when the module is complete and you receive credit.
