Things to keep in mind before you take classes at CMU: - PLEASE SEE YOUR HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELOR BEFORE REGISTERING FOR CLASSES. - **All CMU Concurrent Students must have a continuing CMU GPA of 2.0.** - Taking classes at CMU is **NOT free**. - The College Opportunity Fund (COF) covers your tuition while taking concurrent enrollment classes. - **High School Scholars/Early Scholars** - you are responsible for paying class fees, lab fees and buying textbooks. - **Tech Scholars** - there is an annual program fee (range from $30-$120).

Click "Apply"

Click "Start Application"

Click "Create an account"

Enter a personal email address (do no use your D51 School District email), your name and birthdate. After clicking continue, you will receive an email with a pin number to verify your account. Enter the pin and continue.

Create a New Password.

The password will be accepted when all of the check marks are green.

Click "Start New Application"

Select the "Concurrent Application" option.

Click "Create Application"

Click "Open Application"

Select the year you will graduate high school.

Select the correct entry term. Your entry term will be for the semester that you plan to start taking classes. (Fall classes start in August, Spring classes start in January)

Enter your address and personal information. Enter your cell phone number as your "Preferred" number. After selecting your Primary Citizenship, you will be prompted to enter your Social Security Number (SSN) to set up the College Opportunity Fund (COF). Students who do not have an SSN will need to apply for COF at this website.<https://cof.college-assist.org/>

Enter your SSN with no spaces and no dashes.

Answer the next questions then click "Continue"

Click the "Add Your School" link.

Type the name of your high school on the "Institution" line. Next, enter the dates you started and when you will graduate (Start in August of your freshman year, graduate in May of your senior year). \***NEW**: It will also ask for your current cumulative high school GPA. Save page.

When selecting your family situation, it prompts you to provide information about your parents/guardians. Click "Add New" to add information about one or both of your parents/guardians.

Add the following information about your parent/guardian.

Answer all questions and enter any needed information. Click "Continue"

Type out your full legal name and click "Confirm."

From here, you are routed to your application portal where you can access the Concurrent Registration Form.

Use your personal email and password that you set at the beginning of this process to access your application portal at any time. You will need that login information for concurrent registration in future semesters!
