Connect "Slingshot Automotive" app to Shopify store.

Welcome to the Slingshot Automotive app! Here's how you get started. After you have installed Slingshot Automotive into your Shopify store, Click "Apps"

Click "Slingshot Automotive"

If you goal is to connect your store to your Distributor(s), the first thing you have to do after installing Slingshot, is Click "Settings"

From Settings, Click the Distributors tab, choose your distributor, then Click "Connect"

Fill in your Distributor's FTP Login and password. Please note, there may be different types of connection credentials for different distributors. Please check your [Slingshot Automotive app User Guide](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yfRJF7srgrGHpK38hyd8ayGIUaXp2S8YIbuxXoI3sh4/edit?usp=sharing) for complete instructions for each Distributor and Catalog. You can also set the Update Rate. Click Accept.

Click "Accept"

Next, Click the Catalogs tab. You will see a list of all Catalog data sources available to you. Please note, you must already have an account with any Distributor or Catalog you wish to connect to via the Slingshot app.

Click "Connect" (to your chosen Catalog data source).

Once again, enter your credentials for that Catalog (or register with them first, if you need to); you can also set the Update Rate.

Click "Accept"

If you find that some of the brands you selected earlier are not yet showing up in your store, you can come back to your Catalog and click "Get Authorization" every week or so. Sometimes it takes a while for your Catalog to authorize the brands you've requested.

Click "Proceed".

Once you've chosen at least one Distributor and one Catalog, Click "My Brands" to select the brands you want loaded into your store!

Click "Brand Explorer". You can do this for your initial brand selection... or you can do it anytime you want to learn which brands you can get, from where! Use of the Brand Explorer is always free with the Slingshot Automotive app.

Once you have decided which brands you want, Click the checkboxes beside those brands to get them added.

Select as many as you like.

Click "Add to My Brands"

Want to see if products are loading into your store? After the app has had a chance to work, Click "Products" in the Shopify admin.

Want to check which products are loading by Manufacturer? Click this icon.

Click "Product vendor"

Select a Product Vendor.

Now you can see all the 3D MAXpider products loading in - automatically. These will stay up to date for you.

After the Slingshot app has loaded your brands, it will then sort all products into categories, which are known as Collections in Shopify. To see these, Click "Collections". Be patient, it might take a few days for everything to load and get sorted into Collections. To go back into Slingshot, click "Apps" again.

Click "Slingshot Automotive". And that's all it takes to get started! Next, we will dive into Filters and Enhancements. Have fun getting your Shopify store loaded with all your brands. You should see your store populating with plenty of products. Look out for the Shopify 50,000 products upload limit. Use your filters to keep your store "curated". Happy selling!
