Connecting your laptop to the IFP

This guide provides a straightforward method for connecting your laptop to an Interactive Flat Panel (IFP), ensuring a seamless display experience.

Your classroom is (or soon will be) equipped with a USB-C cable. This is the cable you will plug in directly from your new IFP into your laptop.

Take one end of the USB-C cable and plug it into the "USB-C 2" port on the back of the IFP. While it can be plugged into the "USB-C 1" port on the front of the IFP, we recommend using "USB-C 2" it has a less chance of being hit.

Next. plug the other end of the cable into one of the two USB-C ports on the left side of your laptop.

On the IFP, make sure the power button on the left side is white.

Next, on the IFP, click the "inputs" button at the bottom of the screen

Select "USB-C 2"

Tip! The little green dot next to the input name signifies there is a detected connection for that input.

IF everything has been connected correctly, you should now see your laptop screen on the IFP

Tip! If you would like the IFP to not mirror your laptop screen, press "Windows + P" on your laptop keyboard and select "Extend". After this is complete, you can drag windows from your laptop screen to the right, and they will show up on the IFP screen
