Navigate to [https://nmu.curriculog.com/proposal](https://nmu.curriculog.com/proposal)

Click "New Proposal"

Either look through all proposals or filter by Courses (Click "Courses")

Find the correct proposal and Click "Start Proposal"

To change an existing course, you must first find it. Fill in any of the search fields.

In this example, we are going to search by typing "ACT" "230" and then Clicking "Search"

Review the search results and Click "Preview and Build ..." of the correct course.

It will then display all the information being pulled in from the catalog. Click "Import Data into your Proposal"

To continue with your edits Click "Build Proposal"

On the left will be the steps to change, on the right, you will be able to review the approval steps.

We recommend you click "Close Toolbox" for a better view

You will see that alot of the course information will be pre-populated

Required information is indicated by a " \* ". Most information will be pre-populated. Because this is a new implementation, some information may be missing until we build up the database through use.

You may be asked to attach a document (see the next step)

To attach documents, click "Files"

Click the "File" field.

Click "Upload". You may upload multiple files.

Once done, you can click "Close Toolbox"

You will be asked to provide an impact report.

To run an impact report, scroll to the top of the page and click "Run Impact Report"

A pop-up window will appear

Always click the one connected to Curriculum. Then chose either the Undergraduate or Graduate catalog for the next academic year. In this example click "2026-2027 Undergraduate Catalog (New Connected to Curriculum)".

Click "Generate Report"

Highlight and copy the entire page. This page shows everything that is in some way tied to the change you are trying to make.

Either Right-click and cick COPY or press "CTRL + C". Then close or leave the pop-up window

On the main proposal page, click the text box and press " CTRL + V" to paste the impact results

DO NOT EDIT anything in the"System Administrator Section - Please Do Not Modify" area.

To pause and return to your proposal click "Save All Changes". You can return to this proposal at a later date.

To submit your proposal, click "Validate and Launch Proposal"
If the validation is unsuccessful, it is likely you missed a required " \* " section. Please review, complete and re-validate.
Once your proposal successfully validates, it will move to the next step. The next reviewer will be notified. The proposal will either advance through the process or be returned to you with a notification.
