Tip! Before you Start. You will need to supply the following information on your application. 1. IRD Number 2. New Zealand Business Number (NZBN) 3. Employee details 4. Bank account 5. Revenue details

Alert! There are 3 fortnightly CSP Payments. Each CSP payment has an affected revenue period and a comparison period. It is expected that applications for the second payment will open on 14 March 2022 and the third payment on 28 March 2022. For the first payment: The affected revenue period is any 7 day period from 16 February 2022. The comparison periond will be a typical 7 day period between 5 January 2022 and 15 February 2022. The drop in revenue must be 40% or more to be eligible. Please see the following link for full eligibility criteria and examples. Alert! The Minister of Finance has announced changes to the period that can be used to calculate a revenue drop. He said businesses would also have the option of comparing their revenue to the revenue earned in a comparison period of 5 January 2021 to 15 February 2021.

Once you've logged in, select the "I want to..." tab and 'Apply for COVID-19 support payment' under COVID-19 support.

Click the "Please enter their IRD number" field and insert the company / self employed person's IRD Number.

Click "Verify". This will verify the company / self employed person on the IRD databse.

Select 'Yes' on both option if you have: 1. The Authority to Apply for the Covid-19 Support Payment, and 2. The Authority to Act for the activities of the company. Click 'Next'

Insert the NZBN number if required and select the Payment Period (16-Feb-2022).

Tip! Commonly owned group of businesses or organisations: This is generally a group of businesses where each business has the same combination of owners Pre-revenue firm: This is a business or organisation that has taken active steps towards being market-ready but has not yet begun trading.

Meticulously go through the declarations list and click "Yes" where applicable.

Click "Next"

Within the "7-day period on or after 16 February 2022" section, select the start date for your 7-day revenue period. The end date will be automatically applied.

Click "Yes" if you have earned any revenue for your 7-day period on or after 16 February 2022.

Click the "Your revenue" field and insert the total revenue for the 7-day period.

Within the "7-day period within the comparison period" section, select the start date for your 7-day revenue period. The end date will be automatically applied.

Click the "Your revenue" field and insert the total revenue for the 7-day period.

Your decline percentage will automatically calculate the percentage from the revenue inserted earlier.

Click "Next"

Alert! You will not be able to continue with the application if the percetage is not 40% or more.

Select whether your employee worked Full Time (20-hours or more per week) or Part Time (Less than 20 hours per week).

Insert your employee's IRD Number.

Insert your employee's Full Name.

Insert your employee's Last Name.

Click "Next"

Please review the Payment Details. This will show a summary of the information provided previously, with the Payment Amount calculated accordingly. Click "Next"

Click this dropdown and select the bank account you require the Covid Support Payment to be paid into. Click 'Next'.

Tip! If no bank account is present, please click 'Save Draft'. Click on "I want to..." and select "Update Refund Bank Account". When you return to your saved CSP application the inserted bank account number will be in the dropdown list.

Please meticulously read through the 'Terms and Conditions' section. Click the "I have read and accept the terms and conditions on behalf of the applicant for a COVID-19 Support Payment." field.

Click "Next"

Review the review section and click on 'Submit' to submit the CSP application.

Tip! Once approved, most applicants will receive their payment in full from The IRD within 5 working days. It will be paid into the bank account supplied or chosen in the application. In some cases, The IRD will ask for more information before a decision is made to approve your application
