Create Course Requests using an Ad Hoc filter.

This tutorial will walk you through creating Course Requests using an AdHoc filter. This was recorded using the "New Look" in Campus.

Infinite Campus

Click "Scheduling & Courses".

Click "Requests & Rosters", under Scheduling.

PRO TIP: Click on the Star to "bookmark" a tool in Campus. When returning to use Requests & Rosters, it will allow you to skip Steps 1 and 2 by clicking on the Star.

We will be working on requests for a specific group of students, so we will select 'Students' under View By, and click "Filter" to determine our group.

Select Filter by Ad Hoc.

At this point we will have already created your Ad Hoc. In this example, we are selecting an Ad Hoc titled "9th grade Cotaught ELA".

Click "Close".

Double check that the filter results matches the students in the Ad Hoc. In this example, the Ad Hoc has 62 students.

Select "Batch Edit Student Requests"

Under "Course Number or Name", look for the course(s) that we need to add as requests for our group of students.

Look up both courses for Cotaught English 9 (ending in a 1 and 3).

Click on each course to select. (Blue check mark appears when it has been selected).

Select Request type for each course (R, E, or A).

Click "Add" to create requests.

Review pop up window to confirm number of requests. For 62 students, we are adding two courses for a total of 124 requests. Confirm and Continue if correct.

Select "Close" once complete.
