Create New Template in Canveo

This guide shows how to create new agreement templates in Canveo, and how to make them available for users during agreement creation

Getcanveo

Navigate to [https://www.canveo.net/dashboard](https://www.canveo.net/dashboard)

Click the app section selector (you need to be a Legal or Admin user in order to see it)

Select "Legal"

Make sure you are in the "Templates" section

Click "New"

Upload your template as a Word file

Assign an agreement type and add a template reference (e.g. "Standard" or "For Large Customers")

Select which labels should apply to this template, and click "Create Template"

Area Labels will define the visibility of templates during agreement creation. For example, if you assign the Area Label "Customers" to a template, the template will show as an available template during agreement creation if the user indicates that she wants to create an agreement for the "Customers" area.

The new template has been created - click to open it

In order to activate it, click the dropdown in the upper-right corner, and click "Activate this version"

Make sure to activate your template - only activated templates will show as available templates during agreement creation
