Create Student Course Requests for a required grade level class

This tutorial will walk you through creating course requests for a grade level class. This was created using the Campus "New Look".

Infinite Campus

Click "Scheduling & Courses"

Click "Requests & Rosters"

We will be creating requests for students in an entire grade level. Select "Students".

Click "Filter" to identify the group of students.

Because we are working in a future year, and students are not active in that year, you need to start by checking the "include Inactive Students" checkbox.

Click the "Grade Level(s)" field.

The course we are adding requests for is a 10th grade class, so select "10".

Review the Filter Results in the top left to ensure it is the number of students you are expecting, then click Close.

Click "Batch Edit Student Requests"

Search for your Course Number or Name.

Click on the course in the result list (you will see a blue check mark when it is selected).

Review number of students that will be receiving this request.

Click "Add"

Click "Continue"

Review the confirmation window. If the number of requests added is less than the number you reviewed previously, it means some students already had this request entered. Requests will not be duplicated.
