Create a Check-Out List

This guide provides a step-by-step process for creating a customized "Check-Out List" asset view in the Incident IQ platform, enhancing your ability to manage and track assets effectively.

Incidentiq

Click "Assets"

Click "Assets Explorer"

Click "New View"

Enter a name like "Check-Out List" in the view name field.

Click on "Add Filter"

Click "Location"

Click the "Search locations" field, and select your location.

Click "Save Selection".

Click "Add Filter" to add another filter to this view.

Click "Status"

Click the "Search statuses" field.

Type "Check"

Select “Checked Out – Campus” if your home building is a campus, or “Checked Out – Department” if your home building is a department.

Click "Save Selection"

Click "Columns"

Click the caret to view column options.

Click "Deployed Date"

Click "Add Column"

Click "Select or search for a column ..." to add another column field.

Click "Status"

Click "Add Column"

Click "Save"

You now have access to a Check-Out List, which provides a record of all users associated with assigned technology assets. The Deployed Date field reflects the system timestamp of when the asset was officially checked out and linked to the user record.
