Create a Riot Games Account and Connect to Riftbound Play Network

A quick, easy guide to getting your Riot Games account set up and hooked up to the Riftbound Play Network— so you can jump into events without the hassle.

### Step 1: Go to the Riot Games Account Page First, navigate to the official [Riot Games](https://account.riotgames.com/) login/registration page. If you already have a Riot account, simply sign in. Otherwise, proceed to create one.

### Step 2: To Create Your New Account Click **“Create Account”** to start the registration process.

### Step 3: Enter Your Email or Use Google Authentication When prompted, select how you’d like to create your account. You can use your email, a social login (like Google, Apple, or Facebook), or another available option to register quickly.

### Step 4: Complete the Verification Process After submitting your information, you’ll be sent a code (or directed through verification). Enter the code to verify your account and proceed.

### Step 5: Choose Your Game Name & Tagline Once logged in, you’ll be asked to enter your ***Game Name* and *Tagline***. This unique identifier will become your public handle — be sure to pick something you’re happy to use, as it’s required prior to connecting your Riftbound account.

### Step 6: Visit the Riftbound Play Network Now that your Riot account is created and set up, open the[Riftbound Play Network.](https://locator.riftbound.uvsgames.com/events)

### Step 7: Sign in / Create Your Riftbound Account If you already have a Ravensburger Play Hub account, simply sign in using your existing credentials. If you're new, select **Sign Up** to create your account and get started.

### Step 8: Log In Enter your credentials and click **“Login”** to access your Riftbound Play Network dashboard.

### Step 9: Connect Your Riot Account In the settings section, look for **“Connect to Riot”**. Then click **“Sign‑In with or Create a Riot Account”**.

### Step 10: Authorize the Connection A prompt will appear asking for permission to link your accounts. This might include allowing access to your Account ID and offline access. Click **“Authorize”** to continue.

### Step 11: Connection Complete Once you’ve authorized, your Riot account and Riftbound Play Network account are now linked. You’re ready to participate in Riftbound events!

### Step 12: Confirm the Connection on Riot Return to your [Riot Games](https://account.riotgames.com/) account settings. Scroll down to the **“Connected Accounts”** section — you should see **“Carde.io Play Network”** (the system used by Riftbound) listed as a connected service. This confirms everything is linked correctly.
