Create a Temperature Alert

Navigate to <https://leon.weatherstem.com/>

Click "Login"

Login to your Weatherstem website.

Click "Devices & Events"

Click "Events"

Click "Add event" to add a new event or trigger for your alerts. It will automatically add one labeled "Untitled Event" and sort into your list alphabetically.

Click on "Untitled Event" and type in the name of your Event. EX: Temperature Below 32 , then select the blue checkbox to save

Choose your event type from the dropdown: ***Sensor :*** *Trigger an alert WHEN a threshold is reached from the station readings.* ***Forecast :*** *Tigger an alert based on forecasted conditions for your station's location.*

For real-time Temperature Alerts we'll choose the sensor type \ \ Select the triangle to the left of your county. This will drop down the systems within your county.

Select the triangle next to your desired station to explore the available parameter

For readings from the main system, we'll select the ISS

Select Themometer

Click "less than or equal to"

We'll trigger when the temperature is "less than or equal to" 32 F. Ensure you select "Set" to save

Click "Messages"

Select "Add Message" to create a dispatch message

Click "Untitled Messages 1" and name your message "Temperature Below 32"

Type "Temperature Below 32"

Name your message and type in your content ensuring to select the blue checkbox to save your work

Select Macros tab to designate who the alert will be sent to

Click "Add macro"

Choose the event you'd like to trigger your alerts from the available dropdown

Choose the message you'd like dispatched when your event is active

Select the device or devices you'd like the message delivered to

The minimum repeat will determine how long the system should wait before sending another alert if the condition is still active
Hours of Operation defaults to 24/7. Select if you want to edit.
