Create a new WMS/WFS server application

In Adaptive, you can share map layers using **WMS** (Web Map Service) or **WFS** (Web Feature Service) by creating a WMS or WFS application. WMS provides map images rendered on the server, suitable for visualizing geospatial data, while WFS allows access to raw feature data, enabling advanced querying and editing. Once you add the desired map layers to the application, they will be made available through the corresponding WMS or WFS endpoint, facilitating easy integration and distribution of your geospatial data.

Click **"Applications"**

Click **"New"**

Click **"WMS Server"** or **"WFS server"**

Give the WMS/WFS server a title, description and alias (*PS! alias is required*)

Click **"Map layers"**

Click **"Add map layers"**

Select the map layers to add to the WMS/WFS server application

Click **"Add"**

Make sure the map layers were added successfully

Click **"Create"**

Grant relevant access and click **"Grant access"**
