Create a personal booking page with Microsoft Bookings

Do you regularly have to schedule meetings with students? You can create a personal booking page. Students can schedule the meeting in your own agenda.

Open Teams and go to Apps in the left menu

Open Microsoft Bookings. If you do not see the icon, type "Bookings" in the search bar

Go to your personal reservation page and click "Create meeting type"

Give your meeting type a Title

Describe what this meeting type is for

Add the Location. An online Teams meeting is created by default.

You can turn off Teams meeting if you organise a physical meeting.

Choose the duration of the meeting.

You can show this meeting on your personal booking page (click public). Or create a private meeting only accessible with the link.

You can set the day and time that is available for bookings. You can either use your regular hours or use customised availability hours.

You can see your regular meeting hours here.

As soon as you pick customised availability hours, an agenda is visible that can be changed.

Click 'Advanced options' to change other settings, such as the buffer time.

The buffer time is the extra time you prefer before and after a meeting. You can change this time here.

By "limit start time" you can set at which intervals new meetings can be created.

By the minimum lead time you can limit how far in advance customers can book an appointment.

The maximum lead time means how far ahead a meeting can be booked.

You can also add a reminder email with a personal text.

It is also possible to add a follow-up email with a personal message.

Make sure to save your meeting type.

Now you can share your meeting link. Click on the share icon next on the meeting type.

You can also share your personal booking page. You can click Share and copy.

Microsoft Booking cannot create double bookings in your agenda. Make sure that the available time in Booking is also available in your Outlook agenda.
