Create and Submit an Unplanned Dropship Support Case

Netsuite

Start at your Home Page or the Painted Tree Portal

Unlike when a shop owner properly submits a Dropship case, we'll need one extra step to submit an UNPLANNED dropship package case: we'll need to submit the case ourselves!

If navigating from your Home Page, click Open a Support Case. \*If navigating from the Portal, the Dropship button will also take you to this case form.

Click into the Subject field

Type "Unplanned Dropship Case"

Click to add the corresponding shop owner

Click "List"

Click the shop owner if you see his/her name, or begin typing the name and then press Enter.

Click into the Case Issue field.

Click "Dropship Information"

Click onto the "Custom" tab; this is where you can see the custom fields for Dropship, Shop Owner Sale, and Onboarding/Offboarding tasks.

Click the calendar box to begin adding a date. \*Note: this field is being renamed to "Expected (or actual) Delivery Date to account for unplanned packages.

Select the date the package arrived.

Click the dropdown arrow next to Dropship Tasks Assignment to assign yourself.

Click "List"

Click your name or begin typing it before pressing Enter.

Click the dropdown arrow next to Dropship Status

Click "List"

Click "Dropship: Package Received"

Click the dropdown next to Delivery Service.

Click "List"

Select the correct delivery service, or click the "Other" option if shop owner used an uncommon service.

Go back to the Communication tab.

Click "Files"

Click the dropdown of the Attach File field.

Click "List"

Add a picture file of the package.

Click into the Outgoing Message box

Type a message to explain you've received an unplanned Dropship package.

Remember, these messages will go to the shop owner if the Send to Customer box is checked. If that box, circled in orange below, is checked, you'll send the message to the shop owner. Make sure it's checked, if you intend to communicate with a shop owner.

Click "Save" to submit this case!

You should see the green Confirmation message, telling you the case has been logged :)
