Canva
1
Go to [https://www.canva.com/](https://www.canva.com/)
2
Click "Custom size"
3
I usually prefer making a 1000x1000px logo. Enter the dimensions and click "Create new design"
4
Click "Text" on the left-hand side menu
5
Click "Add a heading" to add text to your design
6
For this example, we will use a made-up brand called "Botanico"
7
Click here to change to a different font
8
Click here to choose font category
9
Retro style fonts seem like a good fit for this brand
10
You can click and try different fonts for your brand. I have chosen "Bright Retro" for this example.
11
Drag the corners of the text box to resize it bigger
12
Let's add a tag line of what your brand actually sells. Click here to add another text box
13
For this example, I've put in "Natural Skincare"
14
Let's choose a "Rounded" font that complements but not compete with the main font
15
I chose "Varela Round" for this example
16
Click this icon to make all the text capitalised
17
Drag this to make the letters spaced out a bit more. I chose '300' for this example
18
And a font size of '32'
19
Click this icon to drag it in the centre and just below the brand name
20
And your logo is done! Now it's time to download it to use it for your Etsy shop and social media
21
Click "Share"
22
Click "Download"
23
Choose PNG format
24
Click "Download" to download your new logo
