Creating Assessments

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to set up assessments on The PE Hub platform. It explains how to add classes, units to assess against, add pupil scores, and create bespoke unit criteria.

In the assessment view of the LMS, Click "Add Assessment"

Choose a name for your assessment. Most schools will have one assessment per class, per year, but you can combine any number of classes into one assessment. Click "Create"

You now need to add the class(es) to the assessment, Click "Add or Remove"

Check the box of the class you wish to add and Click "Apply 1 Change"

Now click onto the assessment you have just created and you will see your class populated within the assessment.

To add an activity unit to asses, Click "Edit Units"

Choose a unit from the drop-down

Click "Finish"

You can quickly and easily bulk-add pupil scores via the flood fill feature. Place your cursor in the grey area of the first pupil's box and drag it down and across. You can now make a bulk judgment for any area covered in the blue.

Click to select your starting score. In this example we've chose 'Not achieved'.

Then your end judgment score

Click "Update"

Once you have completed your flood fill you can go through and individually adjust any pupils score by clicking on the circle you wish to change and updating it.

If you teach something we dont cover on The PE Hub you can create your own Bespoke unit criteria. Click "Edit Units"

Click "Add Bespoke Unit"

Anywhere you see the three dots, you can select and edit your Bespoke Unit.

Type in your unit name and click the tick to save.

You can change the colour

And add in the criteria for your bespoke unit

When you have completed your editing, Click "Finish"
