Creating Structured Pages in Canvas Using Headings

Instructure

Navigate to a Page in Canvas.

Select the "Edit" button in the top right corner.

Select the text you would like to change into a header. Ensure the entire text is highlighted.

Select the down menu in the Rich Content Editor. Usually it will say "Paragraph"

Choose one of the Heading options from the drop down. For this example, we choose "Heading 2" since it is the top heading.

Canvas will automatically change the heading style you selected.

After reviewing your changes to the Page, select "Save" at the bottom right corner.
