Creating a New Handheld Design in WorksManager

In order to create a new design in WorksManager for handheld devices you must have the appropriate design files. You can either use a .vcl or a combination of a .ttm and .dxf.

Starting in a project click on the **Designs** tab.

Click **Add** in the upper right corner.

Click on the bubble for **Data Collectors.**

Click here to give your design a name. Do not use any special characters.

Click on the plus button next to **Surface** to upload your surface file. Either .vcl or .ttm.

Click on the plus button next to **Linework** to upload your linework file. Either .vcl or .dxf.
You can also upload stakeout points (.csv) or a corridor (.pro) at this step as well.

Turn on the switch **Publish to All Devices** to publish the design to all devices on the project.
Note, if you do not turn the Publish to All Devices switch on, you will be asked to manually select the devices you would like to publish the design to.

Click **Publish.** WorksManager will also show you a 3D preview of your design at this step.

Your design will show up under your **Designs** tab
