Creating a Quote on Squeegee

In this tutorial you will see how to create a quote.

Click into 'Quotes'.

Then click the pink three dots and 'Create Quote'.

Select the customer you would like to assign the quote to. If this is a new customer, type their name into the search bar at the top and click the + icon. You will then need to fill out their customer details before creating the quote.

You can change the date of issue and the expiry date.

You will then need to add a job to the quote. So click 'Add Job To Quote' then into 'Services' once the job form appears.

You can either price the job individually or add a priced service, for this example I will be using the second option.

So click into 'Add Service' and select the services you would like to include on the quote from the service list. Then click 'Done' and 'Save'.

You can then schedule the frequency of the job and select this as an ad-hoc, repeating or external. If choosing repeating, you will need to set the frequency. If choosing ad-hoc you can specify a start date if you wish. Whichever option you pick, click 'Done' once you are happy.

You can set a start time for this quote or leave this as unspecified.\ \ Then click 'Save'.

You can also choose a time duration for the appointment.

Then you can assign it to a specific user or round. You can also remove assignees or change the round.

You can add an important note to the job by using the #! combination, if required.\ And you can add notes for the invoice.

You can set time tracking or require signatures.

Then click 'Save'.

You can add any notes to the quote that you wish by typing in the box as shown below.

You could add an attachment if needed as well.

You can change the quote state depending on the status of the quote.

Make sure to click 'Save' once you are happy with the quote.
