Creating a Subaccount in Twilio

This guide provides a straightforward process for creating subaccounts in Twilio, which can help you effectively manage and segment customer accounts.

Twilio

Navigate to [Twilio](https://console.twilio.com/)

In the upper right-hand corner, **click Admin.**

Select **Account Management.**

On the left-hand side, **click Subaccounts.**

Review the information regarding Subaccounts.

Previously created Subaccounts will appear below (if applicable).

Subaccounts are treated similarly to a completely new Twilio account. You will need to create a new Primary Customer Profile, purchase new numbers, and provide the Subaccount’s Business EIN. **Please note: You cannot use the same Business EIN as the primary Twilio account!**

In the upper right-hand corner, **click Create Subaccount.**

Give your subaccount a **Friendly Name.**

When ready, **click Create Subaccount.**

Your subaccount will then appear in the list below with an assigned SID.

Switching to a Subaccount

Near the top, you will see your Primary Twilio account's name. **Click the drop down arrow to the right.**

Choose **View Subaccounts.**

Find the Subaccount you need from the list, then **click its name.**

Your Subaccount name will now appear, indicating that you are inside the Subaccount.
