Use the drop-down menu to select the "BSP-2000:Basic Skills Programs" option.

Click the NAME field.

Type " (the name of your section/class) " ex. ESL-WSNYC-AM-BEC-SM

Click SECTION NUMBER field.

Type " (your section number for this section) " -we use a 4 digit number

Click "ESL 5 High Intermediate ESL" for APPROPRIATE NRS LEVELS

Select your provider option.

For PRIMARY LOCATION, select the "(ONL) Online" option.

Select the correct semester option for that section.

Click in the MAX field.

Type the maximum number of students you want allowed in the section. Do the same with the MIN field if you have a minimum number of students.

In the TYPE field, select the "Distance Learning 1250" option.

For CLASS FORMAT, select the "IN - Internet (100% Online)" option.

For DELIVERY MODE. select the "Asynchronous" option.

Select the primary instructor for the section and their assigned role.

Add additional instructors if needed.

Select the additional instructors and their assign roles.

Click in the BUILDING ASSIGNMENT field.

Type "ON"

Click in the ROOM ASSIGNMENT field.

Type "LINE"

Click the "Override Room?" checkbox.

Click on the calendar icon for the CLASS START DATE field.

Select the start date of the section.

Click on the calendar icon for the CLASS END DATE field.

Select the end date for the section.

Click on WEEKS IN SESSION field.

Add 1 to the total number of weeks that was prepopulated. (ex. If prepopulated field was 11, change the number to 12.)

Click MEMBERSHIP HOURS field.

Type "0"

Click SAVE to create the new section.
