Creating a channel in Front

This guide provides a detailed intructions for connecting the Tall Bob Integrated App with your Front Platform, and efficiently set up their inbox to seamlessly send in Front. Once you are logged in, click on the 'Settings' Icon and get into the settings page. If you are already logged in and your are in the 'Settings' page, make sure that you are in this page - <https://app.frontapp.com/settings/home> and choose the First Tab on the top.\ \ Once you are on the page, click on the 'Channels' Menu Option

Please contact your Tall Bob Account Manager to get a dedicated longcode assigned to your account\ \ **Note:** If your Tall Bob account has multiple dedicated long codes, the first long code assigned to the account will be mapped to the Front channel. If you need to use a different long code, we recommend creating a separate Tall Bob account with that specific long code.

Click on the 'Connect Channel' Button

You would find a list of channels in the page. Scroll down until you reach the 'App Channels' section and click on the 'Connect' Button on the channel which you had created earlier by following steps in the support document - <https://support.tallbob.com/support/solutions/articles/17000147512-connecting-tall-bob-and-front>

Click on the 'Connect to Tall Bob App'. **Note -** The app name may vary based on the name that the user has provided while creating the app\ \ This process will automatically open another tab, which will ask you to Authorize the connection request you had requested. Click on the 'Authorize' button to establish the connection

Navigate back to the Front app tab. Once the configuration is done, the next step is to route the messages to an inbox. To set that up click on the 'Select Inbox' dropdown

If you have an existing inbox, you can choose that or click on the 'New Inbox' button. Provide a name for the Inbox and do the other customizations based on your requirements, and click on the 'Create inbox' Button

Once both steps are done, click on the 'Continue' Button. You will then see the created channel in the list **Note -** The channel name would be automatically displayed in the format \ Tall Bob SMS <your longcode>

To update the channel name from its default, open the channel, then navigate to the 'Settings' tab.

Update your channel name in the 'Channel Name' field and once done, click on the 'Save' Button
