Type "www.usd497.schoolspring.com" into your browser.

Click "Sign In / Register"

**Have you applied for a position within Lawrence Public Schools before?** \ Your previous username and password will allow you to access your previous applications. *Forgot your password?* If you have forgotten your password and this is your first time signing into the new website, Do NOT use the "reset password" process for your first-time logging in. Instead, follow the steps below to "Sign Up" and it should recognize your email address and prompt you to build a new password. Please contact HR if you have any questions. **New to the Lawrence Public Schools application process?** Continue to follow the steps below to set up your account.

Type in your email address.

Click "Continue"

Create a password, then hit "Continue".

A verification email will be sent to the email address you provided. Follow the prompts in your email.

Click "Back to SchoolSpring"

Now that your account setup is complete, visit www.usd497.schoolspring.com to sign in using your credentials.

Once logged in, you will be prompted to enter in personal information for your new profile.

Click "Save and Continue" when you are ready to move on.

If at any time you need assistance, click on the robot head icon in the bottom left corner. This will open a step-by-step guide, as well as access to chat help.

Start by building your profile. Your profile information will be used to auto-fill some fields of your applications with USD497, as well as other school districts or employers who use SchoolSpring.

Fill out the fields within your profile and upload any documents, such as cover letters, reference letters, transcripts, etc. under each section.

Above the "My Profile" section is the "My Jobs" section. Within "My Jobs", click on "Job Assist Preferences" to determine whether you would like employers to view your profile or contact you about a position, as well as job notifications for particular positions or locations. *Note: The preferences you elect in "Job Assist Preferences" do not impact your ability to apply for a position with Lawrence Public Schools. Changing these preferences only impacts the abilities of other employers to search for your profile.*

Within the "Job Assist Preferences", update these fields to reflect whether you would like employers/other school districts to search for your profile.

The "Submitted Applications" location under "My Jobs" allows you to view your current or past applications and their statuses. Applications for other school districts, if they utilize SchoolSpring, will also be visible here.

Ready to apply? Click on "Find a Job".

Search for jobs by keyword, location, category, grade level, or job type. Use the map feature to find open positions near you. Click on job listings to review the qualifications and requirements for the position.

Once you are ready to apply for a position, click on "Apply for this job!" and follow the application prompts.
