Creating and Editing Timeline Messages in WiseTime

This guide offers a straightforward approach to creating and editing timeline messages in WiseTime, making it essential for users looking to improve their communication efficiency. By following the outlined steps, managers can easily customize messages to their team members that will appear on their Timelines.

Wisetime

Click "Timeline Messages"

Create a new Timeline Message

Click "New Timeline Message"

Click the calendar icon to select the date that you wish to have the Timeline message appear

Select the relevant date from the Timeline

From the drop down of Recipients, you can choose individual users or have all team members receive the Timeline message

This is an example to show what it appears like to only have a Timeline Message go to individual users

Tip! You can click the 'X' next to the users name or by the drop down arrow to remove the selected users.

Type in a relevant message to users

Click "Create"

Edit an Exisiting Timeline Message

Click "Edit"

Click the "Message" field and make any changes that you wish to the message

Tip! You can also add or remove recipients during the edit process

Click "Update"

Delete a Timeline Message

Click "Delete" it will be immediately removed

Click "Delete"

Review Timeline Messages

To review Timeline Messages for a specific period, click the Date Range field

Select the relevant dates you wish to see from the calendar, it can be an individual date or a date range.

The Timeline Messages view will update to show relevant messages for the specified date range

Timeline Message Preview for Recipients

Recipients will have the message appear under the Timesheet section of their Timeline
