Google Account

You made it! Ready to create your page? Let's go! In your browser, type <https://www.givemiamiday.org/>

In the upper right corner of the screen, click on "Log in"

Use your Google account or email to log in or create a Give Miami Day account. Then click on "Continue".

Now that you're logged in, click the 🔍 icon. Enter "David Fairchild" in the search field.

There's our cute little Falcon logo! Click on the DFE PTA tile.

Scroll down to the colorful list of teams. Find your Falcon's grade level and click on the link to the right of it. ⭐️ *Sharing is caring.* **If you have more than one Falcon, you can add them all to the same one page!** Pick one team to join, and know that each of their different grade levels will receive credit for the funds that they've raised together. 🥳

Click on "Join this Team", because TOGETHER we can accomplish more!

We're almost to the fun part... Click "Get started"

DFE PTA has created a template to make setting up your page easy peasy! Make sure the ☑️ box is checked to use that template, then click "Launch page manager".

Welcome to your page! It's time to personalize it, as much or as little as you'd like.

Tap on the ✏️ icon to edit your page's title. Add your Falcon's name where the bracketed placeholder is. If siblings are sharing a page, make sure they're all listed here!

Just like back in the early days of computers, you're going to want to SAVE your work often. Trust us. 😅

Next is your fundraising goal. By default, it is set to $150. You can leave it as it is, or adjust it.

Feeling motivated? Raise that goal as high as you'd like! (Just remember to click "Save".)

Your page's image is its face. Your Falcon's face will make the page recognizable to your network. Play up the theme, if you'd like, by posing in a lab coat and goggles, creating with LEGO, or tending a garden. Have fun with it! Click on the ✏️ to change the default STEAM Lab picture, if you'd like.

In the next window, choose from a variety of sources to add either a photo (1280x720 pixels or larger) or -- if you really want to impress -- a video of your Falcon. (Videos must first be uploaded to your own YouTube or Vimeo account.)

Finally, this space gives you a chance to get personal and share your story in your own voice. Let your supporters know what DFE or being a Falcon Family means to you. Share what having the STEAM Lab and Learning Garden will mean for your Falcon. You get the idea! DFE PTA has provided a simple story in this space, which you are welcome to keep or change.

While working on your story, make sure to click "Save" often, for good measure.

When your page is complete, it's ready to go live. Click on the green "Publish" button at the top of the screen.

WOOHOO! Welcome to the team! 🙌 From here you can start sharing your page and spreading the word to friends and family in your network. **PRO TIP: There's one additional (and entirely optional) step you can take to make your personal link easier to remember and share.** Click on the hamburger menu in the top left to get started.

In the Dashboard menu, click on the ⚙️ **Settings** option.

Come up with an idea for your Falcon's custom URL. Simpler is usually easier to remember. Have a backup in mind, in case the custom URL is already in use.

See! So much easier to remember than "tf5h7f". Remember to save! 😉

Click on "Story Page" before collapsing the Dashboard menu. Toggle the "Edit mode" switch to off in order to see your page as your supporters will.

Ready to spread the word? Click on "Share this page".

Choose from your favorite social networks and sharing methods! 💬 📲 📧
