Data Backups

In this tutorial you will see how to restore, download and run a backup on your account. Backups are in a Squeegee specific format, so only really apply to your Squeegee account. If you want your own backup of your data, you should run the 'All Job Data' report (further details on step 4).

If you have a large account, we would advise contacting support on support@squeeg.ee before restoring a backup.

Go to Settings > Data > Manage Backups.

To restore or download a backup click the three dots at the end of each backup.

**\*PLEASE** **NOTE\*** when restoring a backup, any data that has been updated after the backup was created (for example, any invoices raised, jobs marked as done, messages sent, payments recorded/raised) will not be present when a backup is restored however the customer will still have received these notifications. If you would like further advice on the restoring process, please contact support@squeeg.ee

Backups are taken automatically, however you can also run a manual backup (this may be useful to run before shifting your schedule, for example, so that it can be reverted to the most up to date version if any errors are made). Backups are only kept for 7 days so if you would like to keep a permanent copy you will need to download this.

If you would like a copy of your data to export or keep on a spreadsheet, etc. we would recommend using the 'All Job Data' report found in the Reporting tab since backups are in a specific Squeegee format so may not be of much use to users. To export this outside of the app, you will need to click into the report > top right three dots > download.
