Day Pilot (Including Optimised Drive)
In this tutorial you will see how to use the Day Pilot on Squeegee.

Settings Relating to Day Pilot

Go to Settings > Jobs & Scheduling

Here, you will have to option to turn on 'Sticky Day Pilot', which means that the Day Pilot will always open to the last day viewed.

You can also set the Day Pilot to always open with the optimised route already planned.

Finally, you can disable worker ability to optimise the route.
Using the Day Pilot

Click into 'Day Pilot'.

You can select a specific date to view here. Generally, it will always default to the current day.

You will then need to select a user to view the route by in order for the day pilot to optimise and plan the route - it will only plan for individual users/teams at a time.

You can switch between rounds if you have multiple scheduled for that day.

You can also make the map full screen if needed.

To view the job details and mark it as done or perform any other action, click into the jobs then click 'Details'. This will open up the job details and you can mark it off as done by clicking the pink three dots > 'Done'.
Optimised Drive

If it isn't set to 'Optimised' by default, you'll need to select this in order to set the optimised route. The 'Manual' toggle will show the manual order as it is shown in Work/Multi Planner.

After clicking 'Optimised', you will be able to choose your start location. You can choose from: - Current Location - Select a Location (search for and pin a specific location) - From Selected Appointment - Business Address - Preset User Start Location, as set in 'Users' If you choose any of these, such as 'From Selected Appointment', you will then need to choose that appointment from the list.

Then, you will need to select your end locations. You will have the same options, along with 'fastest route': - Fastest Route - Current Location - Select a Location (search for and pin a specific location) - From Selected Appointment - Business Address - Preset User End Location, as set in 'Users'

At the bottom, you will have the option to 'Ignore Time', so the route optimisation will not prioritise appointments with set start times on them, and 'Start at furthest appointment', which will use the furthest away appointment from the chosen start location as the first appointment.

Finally, click 'Optimise', which will generate the optimised route.
