Using the Day Pilot
5
Click into 'Day Pilot'.
6
You can select a specific date to view here. Generally, it will always default to the current day.
7
You will then need to select a user to view the route by in order for the day pilot to optimise and plan the route - it will only plan for individual users/teams at a time.
8
If it isn't set to 'Optimised' by default, you'll need to select this in order to set the optimised route. The 'Manual' toggle will show the manual order as it is shown in Work/Multi Planner.
9
When you click into 'Optimised', it will give you the option to choose an end location for the journey. It will automatically use your current location as the start location. Once you have set the end location, click 'Optimise'.
10
You can switch between rounds if you have multiple scheduled for that day.
11
You can also make the map full screen if needed.
12
To open the route, click either the green car or the colourful number running down the side of the job - this will then make a blue car symbol appear in the bottom right hand corner of the map. Click into this and it will open the route to that job in your preferred mapping software.
13
You can then set a starting location for the map to calculate the fastest route.
14
To view the job details and mark it as done or any other action, click into the jobs then click 'Details'. This will open up the job details and you can mark it off as done by clicking the pink three dots > 'Done'.
