Deleting Account/Pin on the Public User Profile

This guide provides essential instructions for securely deleting a Google and PIN from a Public User Profile on SMART devices, ensuring your private information remains protected.

If a Google account was added to the Public User Profile (e.g. someone signed in to Google before signing into their personal SMART Account/profile), the account and PIN will need to be deleted to protect your private information and for others to access the display.

Ensure there is no user signed in to their SMART Account on the display. If no name is present, no one is signed into the display.

Tap the settings icon on the home screen or open the Apps Drawer and tap the "Settings" icon.

Scroll to "Passwords & Accounts" on the left side and tap to open. Then, tap on the account you want to delete.

Remove the pin from the display to prevent being locked out. Tap on "Security" > "Screen Lock." Enter your PIN.

Tap "None." Then, in the pop-up window, tap "Delete."

Verify the setting is set to "None" under "Screen lock."
