EU login app - 2 factor authentication (ENG)

To access the European Commission's tools, you need to use 2 factor authentication with the EU login app. You will need to set up this app first. You can find out where to find it and how to set it up here.

Install the EU login app on your phone via [EU Login on the App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/eu-login/id1056119441) or [EU Login - Apps on Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.europa.ec.ecas&hl=en).

On your computer, go to [My Account](https://ecas.ec.europa.eu/cas/userdata/myAccount.cgi) where you can set up your EU login account.

Enter your email address and click Next.

Choose your Verification Method

Choose Password

Enter your password and click Sign in

We recommend using a general email address for the organisation. This avoids any hassle with staff changes. You can link multiple mobile phones to the same email address as long as you have the password to the EU login.

Click "Manage my mobile devices"

Click here

Fill in the fields and click here

You will now see a QR code on your computer screen. You must scan this using the app on your phone. Click on “Register” in the app and scan the QR code.

You will now receive a notification from the app. Click on it and your device will be registered.
