EagleSync Tutorial - Finding Events On Campus

This guide is an essential resource for anyone looking to navigate campus events effectively through EagleSync. It provides step-by-step instructions for accessing and filtering upcoming and past events, ensuring users can easily find activities that match their interests. This tutorial focuses on EagleSync on the web, but similar strategies work for the EagleSync app.

To find EagleSync on the web, go to Inside EWU

Click "A-Z Services"

Click "EagleSync"

To see what events are currently advertised on the Upcoming Events section scroll down.

To search for additional events, either past or upcoming, click the "Events" tab at the top.

Alert! Events will be seen based upon how the event creator has set up the event. For example - if the creator selects that only students can see the event, those are the only people (other than admins) that will see the event on the Events Calendar. Some events will only be set up for the Staff/Faculty user type to see and register for.

You can filter through a variety of event types by clicking "Event Type"

For example, you can search for all ASEWU Senate Meetings

As of today there are no scheduled upcoming ASEWU Senate Meetings, but you can toggle between Upcoming and Past events by clicking in the top left drop down menu.

To search for past ASEWU Senate Meetings you can toggle to Past Events

Then it will show the list of past events you are searching for

Within Event Type, you can search for a variety of other event types

Tip! There are several ways you can search for different events by either Group Type (ASEWU, Sorority and Fraternity Life, Club Sports, Department, etc), Group (specific group or department putting the event on), and Group Tags (includes a variety of types of events that the event planner chooses).

If you would prefer to see events listed as a calendar, click " Events Calendar"

The calendar may be overwhelming with the number of events happening. You can filter based on the type of event by clicking the type of group on the left under "Customized View."

On the top right, by clicking on "All Events" you can choose events by which Group is hosting the event. Similarly, you can filter by Event Type and Event Tag.

You can change the time frame of the calendar by selecting "Week," "Month" or "Today."
