By hovering the mouse over "Listings" on the main navigation bar, "Residential Sales" can be clicked.
In this scribe, we will be looking at a Residential Sale listing, but these same steps can be applied to the other listing types in the "Listings" dropdown as well.

Click on the "Action" button of the listing to be edited.

Click the "Edit Details" button located towards the bottom of the page.

The "Edit Details" button can also be clicked. It is located in the dropdown menu, next to the "Change Status" button.
Editing a Listing's Location Information
The first tab in the "Edit Details" screen is the Location tab, where the location information for a listing can be edited.

The address for a listing can be entered in the "Address Line 1" field.

Any additional address information, such as an apartment number, can be entered in the "Address Line 2" field.

The name of the subdivision can be entered in the "Subdivision" field.

The name of the city can be entered in the "City" field.

The "State" field is a dropdown from which the state where the property is located can be selected.

The zip code of the property can be entered in the "Zip" field.

Click the "Next" button, located at the bottom of the screen.
The different pages can also be scrolled through by clicking on the desired tab at the top of the screen.
Edit a Listing's Property Information

The "Property Type" field is a dropdown field where you can choose the appropriate property type for the listing.

The "Property Style" field is a dropdown field where you can choose the appropriate property style for the listing.

The "Beds" fields is where you can enter the number of bedrooms for the property.

The "Baths" field is where you can enter the number of full bathrooms for the property.

The "Half Bath" field is where you can enter the number of half bathrooms for the property.
If your MLS has other bathroom fields, like 3/4 bath or 1/4 bath, it is possible that the Brokerage Engine team can add these fields to your Brokerage Engine site.

The "Building Area" field is where you can enter the building area of the property, in square feet.

The "Lot Size" field is where you can enter the lot size of the property, in acres.

The "Year Built" field is where you enter the year that the property was built.

The "Parking Places" field is where you enter the number of parking places on the property.

If the property is considered "New Construction", you can click this check box.

The "Tax Year" field is where you can enter the tax year.

The "Annual Tax" field is where you can enter the annual tax amount.

The "Elementary School" field is where you can enter the name of the elementary school that is associated with this property.

The "Middle School" field is where you can enter the name of the middle school that is associated with this property.

The "High School" field is where you can enter the name of the high school that is associated with this property.

The "First Name" field is where you can enter the first name of the person who is selling this property.

The "Last Name" field is where you can enter the last name of the person who is selling this property.

The "Phone Number" field is where you can enter the phone number of the person who is selling this property.

The "Email Address" field is where you can enter the email address of the person who is selling this property.

If this property has more than one seller, you can click the "+ New Seller" button. Doing this will create the same four seller fields that we discussed above, which you can then fill out for the additional seller.
Some of the fields discussed below may not show up on your Brokerage Engine site. It is possible for us to add some different fields into Brokerage Engine, per client request.

The "Buyer's Brokerage compensation Percentage" field is where you can add in the buyer's brokerage compensation percentage.

If you have any additional financial information, you can enter it in the "Description" and "Value" fields under "Extra Financial".

If you have any listing fees, you can enter that information in the "Fee Type", "Fee Amount" and "Select Frequency" fields, located under "Listing Fees".

If you have any rental fees, you can enter that information in the "Fee Name" and "Fee Amount" fields, located under "Rental Fees".

The estimated listing price can be added in the "Listing Estimated Price" field.

Use the "Relocation" dropdown to choose whether or not this listing involved relocation.

Any internal comments related to the listing can be added to the "Additional Comments" field.

Once you are done adding in the property information, you can click the "Property Features" tab, in order to go to the next page.
Edit a Listing's Property Features

Click the "Search Features ..." field.
If specific property features are known, the "Search Features..." text input field can be used to begin typing the initial letters of each feature and select the appropriate result.

Type "g" into the text input field, and a dropdown list with features beginning with that letter will populate. Click a feature in order to add it to the listing.

As features are added, they will appear in this section and can be deleted at any time. To view all property features available for selection, click "show full feature list"

Using the full feature list view, users are able to click on the applicable property features. As these are selected, they will appear in the box above.
Property features listed here may differ from those specified by your brokerage.

Once all applicable features have been selected, "Next" should be clicked.
Edit a Listing's "Listing Details"

The "List Price" field is where you can enter the current/anticipated list price for the property.

The "List Date" field is where you can enter the list date for the property. This typically refers to the date reflected on the official Listing Agreement, not the day on which the listing is expected to become Active on the market.

The "Expiration Date" field is where you can enter the date upon which the listing is expected to expire, typically per the official Listing Agreement.

The "Anticipated Launch Date" field is where you can enter the date that the listing is expected to go Active on the market.

The "Agreement Date" field is where you can enter the date that is reflected on the official Listing Agreement.

The MLS dropdown is where you can select the MLS that is associated with this listing.

The "MLSID" field is where you can add the corresponding MLS number for this listing.
As indicated in the step above, if a MLS Number does not yet exist or is inapplicable, enter 'NOMLSID' into the "MLSID" field.

Should your brokerage maintain access to multiple MLS Organizations and therefore possess the opportunity to list the property in more than one MLS, additional MLSs and corresponding MLS numbers can be entered in the "Additional MLSID" section.

You can use the "Listing Office" dropdown to confirm the listing office that is associated with this listing.

You can use the "Listing Agent" field to confirm the listing agent that is affiliated with this listing. Also, additional listing agents can be added by typing and selecting their name(s).

The "Property Name" field can be used to enter the property name, also commonly referred to as "headline", which best describes the listing.

The "Property Description" field can be used to add in the property description, which is commonly referred to as "listing remarks".

In the event it is desired that the listing not be visible online, please check the "Do not show listing online" box.
Selecting DO NOT SHOW LISTING ONLINE will also prevent your Upcoming Listing from showing up on the Dashboard.

In the event it is desired that the listing address not be visible online, please check the "Do not show address online" box.

In the event it is desired that the list price not be visible online, please check the "Do not show list price online" box.

In the event it is desired that the verbiage 'Price Upon Request' appear online in lieu of the actual list price, please check the "Price Upon Request" box.

Click "Save" to complete the updates and save the changes to your listing.
Changes made to the listing will not be synchronized to the MLS. Please note that data flow is one-way, with only MLS data being pulled into Brokerage Engine.
