Embed a Panopto Video in Blackboard

This guide provides a straightforward method for embedding Panopto videos into Blackboard, enhancing your course content with multimedia resources. Navigate to the course in Blackboard that you would like to embed the video into.

Locate the module, document, or assignment where you would like to embed the video.

Click on the "plus" icon.

Click "Content Market"

Locate and click on the Panopto "**Video embed**" LTI.

If your video does not automatically load, it may not be located within your course. You may have to click on the drop-down menu to locate it within the hierarchy of your Panopto account or use the search function.

In this window, you can see that both the course (English Composition One) and "My Folder" are locations that are searchable for the video.

Once you have found the video, you can click the radio button next to it to select it.

Click "Insert" at the bottom of the screen to insert the video in your course.

Return to the location where you intended the video to be embedded to verify it is present. If you see the Panopto logo and the title, click it to verify the video is correct and plays.

Click "play" and the video should load and play.

Tip! If you have not done so yet, verify that you have the permissions set so that your video is viewable to your students. If you do not have it displayed so that those with the link can view it, then your students may not be able to view it.
