Enabling Custom Forms Globally & Individually

How to enable custom forms globally, so that they appear on every each customer/job/user, etc, or enable them individually.

Enabling Custom Forms Globally

Click into Settings and then Data.

Click "Global Custom Fields"

Click on the target of the custom field you would like to enable globally. If you have created a custom collection that will be added to customers, you will need to click Customers to access this collection to enable it.

You can then just enable it globally by enabling the toggle and click 'Save'.

To enable more, go back to Global Custom Fields and enable any relevant collections, remembering to click "SAVE".

Enabling Individually: Customers

If you have a Custom Form with the target *Customer*, and you want to enable it per individual customers, rather than globally, simply head to the Customers list and click into the customer you want to enable it for.

Once the customer card has been opened, click the top right three dots to 'Edit Customer' and scroll down to 'Attach Custom Fields'.

If you have lots of possible Custom Forms, you can search through them at the top. Under 'Custom Forms', you will see any available forms with this target. Simply toggle **on** the ones you want to enable, and click 'SAVE'.

If you click into 'GLOBAL CUSTOM FIELDS' then you will also be able to view any globally enabled forms here for this customer.

Finally, click 'SAVE' on the 'Edit Customer' form so that these changes can be saved.

Enabling Individually: Job Occurrence, Job Completion, Skipped Jobs and Timers

If you have a Custom Form that needs to be attached to a job individually, rather than globally, the best way is to click into the customer to view their jobs.

Once the customer card has been opened, you can click the three dots on the job to 'Edit Job'.

Scroll down to 'Job Event Custom Forms'. You will have the option to view and enable/disable custom forms for: - Static Job Occurrence - Job Completion - Skipped Jobs - Timers Click into the target of the custom form you want to enable.

In the 'CUSTOM FORMS' section, you will see each compatible custom form and see the option to enable these. You will also see the option to 'Apply to all customer jobs' if you want this custom form to be applied to all jobs for this particular customer. Again, remember to click 'SAVE'.

Finally, ensure to 'SAVE' on the 'Edit Job' form also.

Enabling Individually: Users

If you have created a Custom Collection to be attached to **users**, and want to enable this individually, you will need to head to the Users section and click into the user you want to add it to.

Now click into 'Attach Custom Fields'.

Here, you will see any global custom fields that have been enabled, and under 'CUSTOM FORMS' have the option to enable/disable individually. Simply enable the toggle on the one you want to enable and click 'SAVE'.

Finally, click 'SAVE' on the user too.

Enabling Individually: Quotes

To enable a **Quote** custom fields, you'll need to start by creating the quote as normal via Quotes > *pink three dots* > Create Quote > *choose customer*.

Scroll to 'Custom Forms' and click *Add to this quote*.

Enable the toggle of any custom form you want to turn on and ensure to click 'SAVE'.

Ensure to finish the quote creation and click 'SAVE'. You can also add these to existing quotes by entering the 'Edit Quote' option.
