Enabling ONVIF M Analytics in QxControl (Attribute Search, People Attributes, Vehicle Attributes)

This guide explains how to enable ONVIF M-compliant analytics in QxControl. Enabling this feature provides support for attribute-based search, including: People attributes such as clothing and gender Vehicle attributes such as color and type

⚠️ **Note:** ONVIF M analytics is a **licensed feature**. A feature flag must be enabled on each gateway with ONVIF M-capable cameras.\ \ Please contact your **Sales Team** to request activation.

Go to the **Cameras** page and select the camera you want to configure for analytics.

Click **Edit Camera**.

Turn on the **Enable Profile M Metadata** toggle.\ \ **Default:** This setting is **Off**.

The **Enable Profile M Metadata** toggle now shows **On**, indicating the feature is active for this camera.

Click **Save Camera**.

After enabling the setting, you are returned to the **Camera** page.\ \ A confirmation message appears, indicating the operation was successful.

Click **Settings**.

Review the **Detected Analytics** field.\ \ This field displays the analytics currently available from the camera.\ \ **Notes:** - Some manufacturers do **not** load People Detection or Vehicle Detection analytics by default. - If these options are missing from the **Detected Analytics** field, the camera may require additional software applications to be installed. - These applications are typically applied through the camera’s web browser interface or the manufacturer’s configuration tools.\ \ The article covering analytic searches can be found [here](https://www.qumulex.com/kb/analytic-search).
