Tip! The following permit is only available to Rutgers University Faculty and Staff members. RBHS F/S Members cannot purchase permits via Credit Card.

Navigate to [https://parkingbase.com/c/rutgers/login](https://parkingbase.com/c/rutgers/login)

Click "SIGN IN RUTGERS SSO"

Enter your Net ID (usually letters and numbers, without @rutgers.edu)

Enter your password

Click "Submit"

Select your preferred Permit Start Date. This is useful if your hire date is in the future, you can select a date in the future. Otherwise, you can leave the default date or choose 'today' from the calendar object.

Once you've chosen a date, click Search. The system will search for permit availability for your Employee type, and will return results.

For full upfront payment of your permit, choose the "Credit Card" option. The amount displayed is a function of your salary. At this step you have the option to choose Payroll or Credit Card; these instructions apply to the Credit Card option.\ \ **Note**: Notice the map in the area. If you zoom it, it will show you the locations, days, and times that your permit authorizes you to park in.

Click Book to continue the permit purchase process.

Confirm your contact information is correct. Enter any missing information. Your email address should not be changed as it is linked to your Rutgers ID, and will be required to continue to manage your permit.

Verify your Billing Address information. Click Change Address if the information is not up to date, or enter a new address if this section is blank.

Click Next

Enter your vehicle information. If a Vehicle is already present, be sure the information is accurate. You may edit the vehicle at this step.

At this step, you have an option to change to paying by Payroll deduction, or continue on with paying up front with a Credit Card. As a reminder, the amount shown is the amount that will be deducted in full for the prepay option, which is a function of your salary.

Click Next to continue.

If you require ADA parking, please upload your ADA documentation at this step. You may browse to a file on your computer, or if using a mobile device to complete this registration, you may take a picture of your documentation.\ \ If you do not require ADA, you may skip this step.

Click Next to continue.

Enter your Credit Card information.

Confirm the billing address tied to your credit card. Edit in this screen if the address does not match your Credit Cards billing address.

Your charges will be present in the box shown below. If you are purchasing your F/S Member permit after the initial parking start date, you will be presented with a Pro-Rate amount for the rest of the academic year. Otherwise, you'll be presented with the full permit amount.

Click Next

This section of the permit registration process is a simple review page, where you can review your contact information, vehicle information, payment method, and optional uploaded documents. If any information is inaccurate, you may click on any of the checked circles to return to that step.

Click Sign to continue.

Click "Click here for leaseholder terms & conditions" to bring up a Pop Up box containing Terms & Conditions related to your parking permit.

Scroll through and read the "Permit Terms & Conditions".

Once you reach the bottom of the Terms and Conditions, click Accept.

The checkbox should be populated. If not, you may click it now.

Click into the signature box, and sign with your mouse (or finger if on mobile device).

Click Book once you have signed your name.

This finalizes your permit purchase. You will be directed right into your account, where your permit will be in Active status, as shown below.
