On your Android device, navigate to the Google Play store.

Tap the "Search" box and type in Fieldbook.

You may see search matches populate automatically. Select the fieldbook app or hit enter.

You will see the Field Book app in the search results window. Click [[Install]]

Your download should begin.

Once installation is complete, click [[Open]].

On the Field Book start page, you will be prompted to define a storage location for the app. Click [[Define]].

You will be asked to allow Field Book to access photos on your device, click [[Allow]]. This allows you to take images and store images on your device while phenotyping.

Select the folder you would like to use for app storage.

Once selected, click [[USE THIS FOLDER]].

You will be prompted to allow access to this folder. Click [[ALLOW]].

The next prompt provides the opportunity to migrate files from a previous installation. For now, click [[Skip]].

The next prompt requests permissions to allow Field Book to take pictures and videos. Click "While using the app"

The next prompt requests permissions to allow Field Book to access your device's location. Click "While using the app"

The next prompt requests permissions to allow Field Book to record audio. Click "While using the app"

You should now see the main Field Book homepage. You are now ready to use Field Book for data collection.
