Add Spotzi Explorer Filters to your Dashboard

Spotzi’s premium data can be used to filter your [Out-of-Home assets](https://scribehow.com/viewer/Campaign_Planning_with_Out-of-Home_Smart__RjhTtXBSSfKs4S9Ytgl68Q), [premium postal code datasets,](https://scribehow.com/viewer/Creating_Dashboards_using_Spotzis_Premium_Data__af8es--rQByx85lSsLjROw) or [custom uploaded data.](https://scribehow.com/viewer/Import_and_Upload_Custom_Locations_into_Spotzi__m_nieLIwRD2kBVzfvePkFA) Navigate to the funnel icon to open the "Filters" panel. Then, navigate to the "Spotzi Explorer" filter and click "Edit".

Click "Browse Spotzi Explorer".

Use the search bar to find a data variable, or browse the unfiltered list. You can also open the dropdown menu to choose a specific Spotzi Explorer dataset.

Click on the dataset you'd like to use.

Select the variable you'd like to use as a filter.

This variable will be added to your Spotzi Explorer filter window. Spotzi demographic filters are index-based and identify locations where audiences over-index for the selected variable.

Click "Apply" when you're happy with your filter selection.

Your map will now only show locations that match your Spotzi Explorer filters. To adjust filters, click "Edit".

You can adjust how restrictive your filter is by moving the slider to increase or decrease the threshold.
Using Multiple Filters

You may add multiple Spotzi Explorer filters to your dashboard at once. Do this by adding more filters to your original filter group, or create a new filter group. You can define the filter logic in each group separately, allowing you to create flexible filter combinations based on your own criteria. Click "Add Filter Group" to create a new filter group.

Click "Add Filter".

You may choose the same dataset as before, or pick variables from a new Spotzi Explorer dataset.

Add variables to your new filter group by clicking on them in the selection window. You can click on multiple variables to add them all to the same filter group.

You may adjust the filter logic applying to each filter group. "All of the following are true" will ensure that each filter must apply to a location in order for it to appear on your map ("AND" logic).

Changing the filter group's logic to "Any of the following are true" will ensure that only one of the filters in your filter group need to apply to a location in order for it to appear on your map ("OR" logic).

You may also dictate how your filter groups are combined. Select the master dropdown above your filter group window to choose your filter logic. "All of the following are true" (AND) logic will ensure that the locations on your map match the criteria set by **all** of your filter groups.

"Any of the following are true" (OR) logic will ensure that the locations on your map match the criteria set by **any one** of your filter groups.

Click "Done" when you're happy with your new selection.

Click "Apply"

Your dashboard will now only display the locations which match your filter criteria. Your dashboard widgets will also adjust to match your new selection.

Click "Edit" if you want to change or remove your filters.

Click the trash icon next to a filter to remove it from your filter window.

Click "Done" after removing your filters.

Click "Apply". All of your unfiltered locations will now be visible on the map.
