Finding & Recruiting Free Agents Registered to Your Program

Navigate to [https://districtsoccer.org/](https://districtsoccer.org/)

Click "Manage Your Account"

Log into your District Soccer Dashboard.

Select your league name from the list of "Current" programs in your District Soccer Dashboard.

Click "Players"

Captains have access to a full list of players in their league. Available free agents will be tagged with "Free Agent" and their Gender as listed in LeagueApps. They will also have two options listed next to them: "Invite to Team" & "Send Message". We strongly recommend selecting the "Send Message" option to contact players/connect about whether they would be a good fit for your team. You can also use this option to reach out to any player should your team need single-match subs throughout the season. You can also select "Invite to Team" to invite a Free Agent to join your roster. They will be prompted to register for the team, sign waivers, and pay their share of the team fee (if applicable). Please note: player roles/statuses do not update when you invite a player, but rather when they have accepted and registered for your roster. Just because you reach out does *not* mean they will ultimately join your team. You can also still use the [free agent pool](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sl8fG04Nkmad1IWGhq7OxM2e7IhFQRj-u_1kKBVC7y0/edit?gid=218248845#gid=218248845) to recruit players who have registered in that program.

Click on a player's name to view they District Soccer player profile. If they have answered all profile details questions, you will be able to see their preferred position(s), whether they're willing to play goalkeeper, and their player bio. Use this information to determine whether a player will be a good fit for your team. If so, send them a message to talk about having them join your team for the season (or as a single-match sub). You can also send them an invite to join your roster from the players list.
