Ready to register for a Girl Guides Victoria event? This video walks you through the basics step by step. **Log in** to the GGV Member Portal. \ <https://members.guidesvic.org.au/MP/Sign_In.aspx>\ \ The username for your household is your (the guardian) email address.\ If you cannot remember your password, please complete a 'forgotten password' request on the Portal.

Select the **events** button in the header.

Scroll to find the event you wish to register for.

Read the full registration details and any linked event booklets. These include key information about the event - such as times, location, transport options, activity choices, kit list, and preparation tips.\ \ Once you have carefully read all the available information, please scroll down and select\* **Register a Family Member.** \ \ *\*If you are a single child Guiding family, this will display as a yellow button **'Register (insert Guides name).***

Select your Guides name and **save & close**.\ \ \*\*If you have multiple Guides you will return here to register others later. \*\ \ \*\**The system will not allow you to register a Guide if they fall outside of the age range for the specific event (if the event is age limited).*

Choose the registration option you want, making sure you understand the differences before confirming. If the event only has one registration option, there will be nothing to select.*\ \ \*\*If you need to change your registration option after you have submitted your order, please contact [events@guidesvic.org.au](mailto:events@guidesvic.org.au)*

All events require an emergency contact, and most include additional questions that must be answered. \ \ Once complete, click **Save responses**.

If you have another Guide you need to register for this same event, please scroll up and select **Register a Family Member** and complete from steps 4 - 7 again.

Once ready to check out and make payment, scroll back up and select **Check Out & Confirm Registration**

All items in your checkout cart will now display here.\ You can click the drop down to view the registration option you selected for each registrant and any additional add-ons.

Once you are ready to pay, please select your **Payment Method** and complete all credit/debit card details.

Tick the authorisation, and click **Submit Order.**

Your payment and registration will now process. This may take a moment - please stay on the page.\ \ Once complete, a confirmation screen will appear and a receipt will be emailed to you automatically. From this screen, you can also send additional receipts to other email addresses.

**Question 1 |** \ How can I confirm my child is registered?\ \ **Answer 1 |** \ After submitting your event order, a confirmation screen will appear and a receipt will be emailed automatically.\ If neither occurs, your Guide has likely not been registered.\ To confirm, go to the Guide’s profile and open the Events tab. Upcoming events will be listed there. If the event is missing, the Guide is not registered.\ You can also check your bank statement for any registration fee deductions.

**Question 2 |** \ I read that my Guide will need to bring along a Health Form to the event. How do I find that?\ \ **Answer 2 |** \ Great question! Yes, your Guide will be required to bring a Health Form along to their event, completed within 24hrs of event commencement. You can find the health form on the member portal.
