General Settings

In this tutorial you will see the different settings available in the general section and what these do.

Go to Settings > General.

You can search for a specific settings by using the search bar at the top of the Settings list - this will bring up any settings that have the key word you have entered and show you how many of those settings are available within each heading.

You can upload your business logo which will be used on invoices, etc. You can also set your logo as your avatar in the top left corner by enabling the toggle.

You can connect other services with Squeegee such as your bank, Stripe and GoCardless. The settings within this are covered in more detail in the Settings > Invoicing & Payments tutorials.

You can choose which industry you work in - you can select as many as apply.

You can set which units distance will be measured in.

You can also select which temperature units will be used.

When you click on the customer's phone number it will open the dialer of one of the below options so you can call the customer - this is external to Squeegee. You can choose between: - System Dialer (tel:) - WhatsApp (app) - WhatsApp (web) - Telegram (app) - Signal (app) - Other (custom)

You can set the report footers at the top or bottom of the reports - the footer shows the accumulative totals of the report.

You also have the option to hide the distance markers shown between jobs on the planners.

You can disable the swipe actions when marking jobs as done to prevent accidental completion marking - this will affect all users on the account.

You can choose to show/hide water filling locations on the maps within Squeegee.

You can enable or disable the four finger tab for launcher on mobile. When enabled, this will open up a launcher for anywhere in the app when tapping four fingers on the screen on mobile devices.

You can run a 'Full Sync' or 'Clear Cache and Full Sync' to pull through any unsynced data on your account.
