Click the + icon to open the question type menu.

Click "Auto-generate question"

Click "Select course items" to point the tool at specific content.

Drill down to the content you want to use by clicking titles.

Keep drilling down until you see a list of the content you want to use.

Select all the content you want to cover in your test.

Click "Select items"

Click the "Question Type" dropdown and choose the kinds of questions you want. If the tool starts generating questions before you have given it direction, just ignore those.

Click "Multiple choice" or any other question type.

Move "Complexity" to High

Select up to 10 questions to be generated. If you want more than 10 questions, just repeat this process later.

Click "Generate"

Click the box next to the questions you want to keep.

Click "Add 10 to Assessment"

Editing the questions is easy. You can click the points value to edit that.

Turn on "Automated Feedback" if you would like to add feedback to students to see after they submit their exam.

You can also reach the editing pane by clicking the "three dots"

If you want a question to be extra credit, choose that now.
